On Board Alitalia
Alitalia provides the option of 4 travel classes; Classica, Classica Plus, Ottima, and Magnifica. Each class offers a special and unique service that strives to satisfy each travelers needs and desires while reaching their destination.
Classica is Alitalia’s classic economy class. Each seat in the Classica class offers personal and individual entertainment systems, however, only on the newer A330 and B777 aircrafts. There are complimentary meals that would depend on the length each flight and whether it is a short-haul or long-haul flight.
Classica Plus is Alitalia’s Premium Economy that is mainly offered on long-haul flights. In contrast to Classica, the services for Classica Plus remain the same except for some extra perks. Some of the extra benefits include spacious seats with more legroom and priority check-in with a higher weight baggage allowance. The seats generally recline to about 120 degrees.
All passengers on long-haul flights are given a night kit, travel amenity kit, and complimentary meals and snacks. Some flights offer a choice of complimentary wines.
Alitalia’s frequent-flyer program is called MilleMiglia. The program is combined with the Sky Team alliance program giving passengers the ability to collect and redeem miles across the whole alliance.
