Malaysia's Penang is well known for being a foodie heaven. Hawker stalls, markets, restaurants, and cafes, all serving a mouth-wateringly tempting range of cuisines create this rich eating culture for which Penang is famous. It is also home to many interesting attractions and sights, and is a major gateway to the popular island of Langkawi.
Climb Penang Hill for glorious views of the area, or take a trip to mangrove forests, waterfalls, and temples.
