Montreal Dorval Flights Guide

Montreal Dorval, CanadaMontreal Dorval is the previous name of the international airport that serves Canada's Montreal. The official title today is Montreal Pierre Elliet Trudeau International Airport, and its IATA code is YUL. The airport was named in honour of Canada's 15th Prime Minister. For ease, its name is often shortened to Trudea Airport, and a large number of people still refer to it by its former name.

It is situated around 20 kilometres from the heart of the city. Public transport is available to carry passengers between the airport and the city centre, but there are plans to further expand and improve the existing transportation systems. A number of taxis wait outside the airport and rental car services are available.

It is a busy airport, and offers flights to five continents – North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Flights go to and from over 130 global destinations.

The airport has one main terminal that is split into three concourses. As well as a good selection of shops and restaurants, the airport also contains a number of passenger lounges. These are in addition to the regular seating and waiting areas. There is an airport hotel – it is a four star hotel that is part of the Marriot chain. The airport offers parking facilities.
