There are many grand old churches, some of which will make you think that you have been transported to a different time and place. The old walled city remains can be found at Ihtramuros. Within this area you will find the most important church in the Philippines, as well as numerous museums and fascinating ruins.

Malacanan Palace is the official residence of the country's president. Take in a show at the theatre. Children will enjoy the zoo and ocean park. There is a good selection of museums across the city. In Plaza San Luis commercial area you can enjoy good shopping.
As far as food, Manila is a hotspot for all the regional cuisines of the different islands that make up the Philippines. There is so much choice it will be difficult to decide where to begin!
