Darwin, AustraliaThe small yet vibrant city of Darwin sits on the edges of the Timor Sea. It is the capital city of the Australian Northern Territory state, and enjoys a tropical climate. It has a very multicultural society and a laid back lifestyle.

Darwin is made up of rich culture, delicious sea food, Asian markets, crocodile hunters, artistic Aboriginals, lovely beaches, music, and more. There are many things to see, do, and experience in delightful Darwin.

Some of Darwin's main attractions include Darwin Wharf, which was heavily bombed by Japanese forces, the grim Fannie Bay Gaol, and the somber war cemetery. The colonial Court House and Police Station are law related institutions from the days of colonial rule. Lake Alexander offers great all year swimming and picnicking, and the pretty Bicentennial Park is a hit. Other places include Charles Darwin National Park, a crocodile farm, a butterfly park, and Casuarina Coastal Reserve, with gorgeous beaches, and rugged cliffs.
