Emirates Airlines is one of the largest airlines in the world and is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The airline was established in 1985 by the government of Dubai with a fleet of two aircraft. Today, the airline operates over 100 aircraft, with current orders for an additional 244 aircraft – including the Airbus A380 Super Jumbo as well as the new Boeing 777-300ERs (as at July 2008). Emirates Australia Flights
Emirates offers 14 flights per week to Dubai from Sydney and a daily non-stop service as well as an additional seven flights per week via Bangkok. Another 14 flights per week from Melbourne to Dubai and a daily non-stop service between Dubai and Melbourne and a second service via Singapore are also available with this airline. The airline also operates daily services from Brisbane to Dubai via Singapore, and a daily non-stop service between Perth and Dubai. A complimentary chauffeur service is available to passengers travelling in First or Business Class with Emirates Airlines from selected cities, including Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

On Board Emirates
First Class – You are truly in a world of your own when you fly First class on Emirates A380. You basically have your own private suite with sliding doors for maximum peace and privacy. The suite is fully equipped with your own private mini bar, wardrobe, vanity table and mirror. Your most comfortable seat converts into a full flat bed. Also included are two onboard marble shower spas complete with linens and shower kits to freshen up before you arrive at your destination. On the upper deck of the Emirates A380 are two lounges for those that want to enjoy some drinks, hors d’oeuvres and snacks.
Many entertainment options are available on the wider screen digital screens including the ICE entertainment system of movies, news, sports, games, music and some live TV. First Class dining includes the finest cuisine and the latest Healthy Meal options. Also included are a wide range of drinks, including wines and champagnes.
Economy Class cabins offer more comfort with spacious seats that slightly recline and that include wider seatback digital flat screen monitors providing a variety of movie channels including news, music, games and other entertaining categories. A wide variety of drinks are available along with delicious meals that include a number of delicious regional dishes.
Emirates Business Class Flights
Business Class seats are on all Emirates A380 aircraft and most of the Boeing 777 aircraft. The wider, more comfortable seats very simply convert into a full flat bed. Seats are also adjustable to your liking with your own touchscreen controller. Included is a power supply for your laptop and other devices. Every seat includes a built in mini bar along with a large table for a more comfortable workspace. A divider is available to you for more privacy. Every business class seat comes with its own private entertainment system with a large screen offering up to 1500 channels through the ICE entertainment system, including movies, music, games or news. Healthy, regionally inspired meals are served on all flights including a wide selection of wines and beverages. The upper deck offers two lounges to enjoy a cocktail with some appetizers of just a casual conversation with another passenger.
Emirates Economy Class
Emirates Economy Class is designed to provide additional room and greater levels of comfort. Aircraft offer personal TV monitors featuring the award winning Emirates inflight entertainment options - including over 600 channels of on-demand programming .
Emirates First Class & Private Suites
All Emirates aircraft departing from Australia offer a First Class Cabin with a wide selection of dining, entertainment and comfort options (including luxury sleeper seats). Emirates also offers enhanced private suites in First Class on selected aircraft from Perth. The new private suite is fully equipped with a coat closet, vanity desk and storage options, as well as a private mini bar.
First Class Suite seats recline to become a fully flat bed, and in-flight entertainment options are comprehensive with a wide-screen LCD screen featuring a selection over 600 channels. A la carte gourmet dining options are also offered, including a seven course meal for long haul passengers.
Skywards Frequent Flyer Programme
Emirates Airlines operates a frequent flyer programme called Skywards to reward its passengers. Members join at the Blue level, and are able to progress to Silver and Gold as they accumulate reward points. Benefits of Silver and Gold membership include priority check in, lounge access where available and bonus Skywards miles when flying with Emirates. For younger travellers, Emirates offers a reward programme called Skysurfers.
There are 32 dedicated and partnered lounges available across six continents in 28 cities available to Business and First Class travelers as well as Emirates Skywards Platinum or Gold Members. The Silver members can only have access to the lounges at Dubai Airport. Emirates lounges offer full bar service along with a large buffet with a huge selection of fresh and healthy seasonal dishes to meet just about every type of preference. Also served is a wide range of delicious desserts. You can relax in luxurious seating and enjoy the large plasma screen TVs or if you’d like to freshen up, you can enjoy a shower.
