Why Fly Virgin Australia

Virgin Australia is a part of the well-known Virgin Group. The airline was formerly known in Australia as Virgin Blue Airlines. It is now Australia's second largest airline by passenger load and fleet size. When founded, Virgin Australia was operating only two aircraft that served a minimum of destinations. Since their founding date in 2000, Virgin Australia now lands in approximately 30 destinations all within its own country.

The airline became well-known as being operated to promote low-cost airfares, however as years past and their demand grew, Virgin Australia now considers themselves to be a world-class airline.
In 2011 the airline was essentially renovated adding new uniforms, more onboard services, a more attentive staff, and much more.
Virgin Australia has an extensive domestic network of over 25 destinations within Australia, including many locations on the East Coast such as Fraser Coast, Coffs Coast, Hamilton Island and Ballina Byron.

Virgin Australia's parent company is Virgin Australia Holdings Company which has multiple airlines operating as a subsidiary. This has benefited Virgin Australia in many ways allowing for an increase in destinations and a capability to serve more passengers. Virgin Australia continues to grow their list of code-share agreements.
