Switzerlands’ former national airline Swissair ceased their operations in 2002 after 70 years of being in operation. They were then taken over by Crossair and became known as Swiss International Air Lines and then again taken over by the German airline Lufthansa in 2005. Their fleet size include 91 aircraft, most of which comprise the Airbus A320, A333 and A340. Their main hub is located at Zurich Kloten Airport, with secondary hubs based at airports in Geneva and Basel.

Seats include lumbar support, adjustable head rests and flexible wings. Meals served on board include a choice of a meat dish or vegetarian, or sandwiches and snacks on shorter flights. Entertainment is offered on your own seat back flat screen monitor.
Swiss Air Business Class
SWISS Business Class is offered on their long haul flights, in addition to their flights throughout Europe, all with unique comfort and service so that you reach your destination relaxed and refreshed. Long haul flights offer roomier seats with more armrest space and table space. Seat width is 20.5 inches with adjustable air pillows. The seats are nicely angled for better access and offer sleeping comfort on a fully horizontal long bed that features massage function to relax and put you to sleep. In seat power supply is located at the seat for laptops and other devices. SWISS Business European flights are shorter in duration although seats are in a separate cabin and still offer generous spacing, more privacy and personal space with the middle seat unoccupied. On board you will receive the same personalized care and hospitality as long haul flight passengers.
Depending of duration of flight, SWISS offers 5 course meals, quick meals and snacks throughout the flights along with fine wines and beverages.
