Why Fly On Sichuan Airlines
Sichuan Airlines was originally founded in 1986 and is known mainly for its regional flights from its main hub at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in Western China. However, in 2002 the airline faced reorganization and became 40 percent owned by the Sichuan provincial government while another major portion of the airline is owned by China Southern Airlines. Currently the airline operates a total fleet size of 81 aircraft that mostly include the Airbus A320-200 aircraft.

The airline operates mostly domestic flights between major cities in China such as Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. Other short haul flights they operate are to destinations in South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam. Most recently the airline began long haul flights to Vancouver, Canada and Melbourne, Australia. Altogether they reach over 60 destinations.
