Royal Brunei - Airline Information
Royal Brunei Airlines is a wholly owned by the Government of Brunei and is the flag carrier for the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam. Its home base is in Brunei International Airport.
In June 2008, Royal Brunei Airlines introduced a daily flight from Perth to Brunei. The airline also flies directly from Melbourne, with connections available from Brunei to destinations including Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong and Jakarta. The airline also has codeshare agreements with Singapore Airlines, British Midland, Philippine Airlines and Dragon Air, offering an expanded network of destinations.
Royal Brunei Travel Classes – Cheap FlightsRoyal Brunei offers passengers a choice of Business and Economy class in its aircraft cabins. The Skyshow entertainment system has recently been fitted into both classes in the cabin and offers passengers on demand videos, audio and computer games.
Business ClassBusiness Class passengers travelling long-haul with Royal Brunei Airlines may enjoy the option of “Dine Upon Request”, which allows them to choose to have their meal at a time convenient to them, up to 90 minutes prior to landing. SkyDreamer seats extend up to 75 inches when reclined to offer comfort to passengers who are trying to sleep (selected routes only).
The SkyLounge was opened at Brunei International Airport in 2004 and Business Class passengers are welcome to make use of its facilities, including plasma screen televisions, ablutions areas for Muslim passengers and workstations with free internet access.
Economy ClassEconomy Class seats have a 32 inch seat pitch, offering spacious leg room for travellers. Meals and entertainment are complimentary and passengers are cared for by a multilingual cabin crew.
RoyalSkies Frequent FlyerRoyal Brunei Airlines runs the Royal Skies loyalty programme to reward its frequent flyers. Membership is available at Blue, Silver or Gold level. Silver and Gold are elite membership levels and bring with them extra benefits including an additional baggage allowance of at least 10kg and complimentary airport lounge access.
