Royal Brunei Airlines is a wholly owned by the Government of Brunei and is the flag carrier for the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam. Its home base is in Brunei International Airport.
In June 2008, Royal Brunei Airlines introduced a daily flight from Perth to Brunei. The airline also flies directly from Melbourne, with connections available from Brunei to destinations including Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong and Jakarta. The airline also has codeshare agreements with Singapore Airlines, British Midland, Philippine Airlines and Dragon Air, offering an expanded network of destinations.

On Board Royal Brunei
Brunei Airlines offers two classes of seating and service on board their flights, Economy Class and Business Class and features differ slightly depending upon the type of aircraft and duration of flight. Meals are served on board some flights, although the airline does not serve alcohol on any of its flights. Economy Class includes standard seating with a 31 to 33 inch pitch and reclines about 6-11 inches. Seat width on all seats is 17.5 inches. Short haul aircraft do not offer a power supply for laptops or seat back TVís. Long haul aircraft offer a 33 inch pitch between seats with adjustable foot rests and head rests. Entertainment is provided on individual 8.4 inch seat back TV monitors. The Sky Show Inflight Entertainment system offers AVOD with a large selection of movies, audio and entertainment in many languages.

Royal Brunei offers passengers a choice of Business and Economy class in its aircraft cabins. The Skyshow entertainment system has recently been fitted into both classes in the cabin and offers passengers on demand videos, audio and computer games.
Royal Brunei Airlines Business Class
Long haul Business Class flights offer seating that is ergonomically designed with plenty of room to relax and can be converted to a full flatbed position on the Boeing 787 aircraft. A large duvet and pillow are provided. All seats include a 15.4 inch touch screen TV with your own remote control. In addition, seats feature a power supply and USB port for laptops and other electronic devices. The in-flight meal service offered is for lighter and healthier options called food fit to fly by. Business class passengers may choose to dine when they wish as long as it is up to 90 minutes before landing.
Economy Class seats have a 32 inch seat pitch, offering spacious leg room for travellers. Meals and entertainment are complimentary and passengers are cared for by a multilingual cabin crew.
