Eva Air is the second largest airline in Thailand. The company was founded in 1989 and maintains their recognition as the 6th safest airline in the world with no losses or fatalities since it was founded. Eva Air is based out of their main hub at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, near Taipei, Taiwan. Most of the company as a whole is privately owned. Eva Air joined the Star Alliance group of airlines in 2013. The airlines total passenger fleet size include 47 aircraft. They also have 15 cargo aircraft. On Board Eva Air
Eva Air offers 3 options for seating; Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class. The airline is considered to be one of the first to introduce Premium Economy seating including the Elite Class or Evergreen Deluxe seating.
The Premium Economy seats have a pitch of 38 inches and include memory foam cushions along with adjustable head rests and a seat width of 19.5 inches. In-flight entertainment is included on nearly all aircraft. Each seat is equipped with a small, personal 8.4 inch touchscreen monitor. Their entertainment package includes that of an AVOD system. Power supply is available for laptops and phones.
Economy seats are standard with a pitch of 31-33 inches between seats. Depending on the aircraft, some seats offer adjustable headrests and an ergonomic design with memory foam cushions. Touch screen monitors and entertainment is also included on the back of each seat.
Meals, snacks, and drinks are provided on most flights depending on your flight. The Premium and Business Class meals are served on exclusive tableware.
Eva Air Business Class
Eva Airís Business Class is known as the Premium Laurel Class or Super Business Class. The Business Class seats have a pitch of 44-61 inches. The Premium Laurel seats have a 61 inch seat pitch and almost entirely recline to a flat bed. All seats provide your own personal lights and power supply to charge up laptops, phones, and other devices. Along with the seat perks, each seat is also equipped with its own individual entertainment system.
Royal Laurel Class seating is offered on flights to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Paris, London, and Amsterdam. This travel class offers more luxurious and comfortable seats that recline to a fully flat 180 degrees. The cabin is all furnished with high technical equipment, multiple USB ports and a power source. The seats are equipped with a 15.4 inch touch screen monitor featuring movies, TV shows and games. A pull out table is accessible for work or dinning.
