Cathay Pacific is an Asian airline based in Hong Kong which flies to around 100 destinations worldwide. The airline operates a fleet of over 100 aircraft, including the Boeing 777-300 Extended Range and the Boeing 747-400 aircraft. From Australia, Cathay Pacific flies from a variety of major cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide to Hong Kong, London, Europe, America and Asia. Cathay Pacific is part of the One World frequent flyer partner programme – which includes related airline Dragonair.
At Hong Kong International Airport, Cathay Pacific has a Superhub, which offers travellers six transit gates close to both immigration and customs, thus offering a more relaxed airport experience. The Superhub also contains airport lounges for the use of Business and First Class passengers, offering food, beverages and business services amongst other benefits.

Cathay First ClassOn selected aircraft, Cathay Pacific now offers new 'suites' in First Class, providing a high level of comfort, luxury and privacy. The suites are designed towards maximising personal space and in flight convenience within a spacious individual ‘cocoon’ design. The luxurious new design encompasses a new range of features designed to make long-haul travel a more pleasurable experience. Features of first class on selected Cathay Pacific routes include lie-flat beds with a length of 81 centimetres, a personal storage compartment/closet, an ottoman doubling as a guest seat as well as a vast selection of in-flight entertainment and dining options. First Class passengers may choose their own meals and dine at a time of their choosing, thus offering maximum flexibility.
Cathay Business ClassOn selected aircraft, the new Cathay Business Class cabin provides a luxurious set of features for long-haul travel. The new flat bed provides aims to provide a high level of comfort and privacy, whilst the updated seating configuration allows for unrestricted aisle access from each seat on select long haul routes.
Cathay Economy ClassThe new Economy Class cabin on Cathay Pacific has been designed to maximize space and comfort for passengers travelling long haul. Shell seats ensure that reclining seats do not intrude into the space of the traveller seated in the row behind. An extensive in-flight entertainment system from personal seat back televisions provide a new level of interactivity for economy class passengers, with a choice of 100 movies and programming available in a choice of nine languages.
Marco Polo Club Frequent Flyer ProgrammeThe loyalty programme run by Cathay Pacific for its frequent flyers is called the Marco Polo Club. There are four levels of membership, with Green being the basic level and Silver, Gold and Diamon levels offering enhanced benefits, including worldwide lounge access, guaranteed seats and additional baggage allowances. Flights taken with Cathay Pacific earn points, along with those taken on Dragaonair or other affiliated airlines and transactions with programme partners.
Members of the Asia Miles scheme may also earn miles in that programme through flights taken with Cathay Pacific.
