Air France - Airline Information
Air France is the national airline of France, with its headquarters at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. It is a subsidiary of the Air France - KLM group. Amsterdam's Schiphol airport is also a hub of the combined group. The airline is part of the Skyteam Alliance, which is the second largest airline alliance in the world with eleven member airlines. SkyTeam calls itself the 'first alliance built around customer needs'. In 2006 and 2007, SkyTeam was the world's best airline alliance, according to the readers of Global Traveler Magazine. SkyTeam has two premium levels, Elite and Elite Plus, based on a customer's tier status in a member carrier's frequent flyer program.
Air France offers a coach service for passengers between Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports in Paris, and also between the airports and the city.
