Why Fly On Air Austral
Air Austral is a very small French airline of the Indian Ocean that operates all of its flights out of their hub at Roland Garros Airport in Sainte-Marie on Reunion. Its current fleet size consists of 8 aircraft. The airline operates services to 12 destinations throughout France, Thailand, India, South Africa and the Indian Ocean. In addition the airline has partnership agreements with Thai Airways, Virgin Australia and Lufthansa Airlines.
On Board Air Austral
Three classes of seating are offered on some aircraft and they include the Economy (Class Loisirs), Premium Economy (Classe Confort) and Business Class (Club Austral). All in-flight entertainment features an AVOD system with a nice selection of movies and audio to choose from. Meal services are offered on most flights. The Economy seating features leather seats in a standard width and seat pitch of approximately 30 inches. Seat back flat screen monitors are included at every seat. The Premium Economy seats include wider leather seating featuring a footrest and a personal reading light. Seat back flat monitors with individual remote controls are at every seat.
Air Austral Business Class
The Business Class seating offers the most leg room with wider leather seats and leg rests. Seats recline to an almost flat position to allow for plenty of comfort and rest. Private flat screen monitors are at the armrest of every seat and also include a private reading light. A universal power source is at every seat for laptops and other devices.
Air Austral Lounges
For passengers traveling the Premium Economy and Business Classes and Capricorn Premium frequent flyer members, the airline offers access to its Lounges and partner lounges.
