Alongside their affiliate with the major airline alliance, Aeroflot also has codeshare agreements with 25 other airline companies.
Aeroflot Russian Airlines was formed in 1923. They are not only one of the oldest airlines in the world but also the largest passenger carrier airline in Russia. Routes can be traced as far back at 1923. The airline operates both domestic and international flights. An international award was given to them in 2013 as the best air carrier in Eastern Europe. Before the fall of the Soviet Union, most of Aeroflot’s aircrafts were those built by soviet manufacturers. Then Aeroflot began to replace them with Airbus, Boeing and more modern Russian models with a total fleet size to include 138 aircrafts, most of which consist of Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321-200. In addition, they have 188 new aircraft on order to include Boeing 737-800, Airbus A350-800, Boeing 787-800 and Irkut MS-21.

Aeroflot Russian Airlines offers a number of travel classes for passengers to choose from. The Economy Class is comfortable with ergonomic seats that are 17.8 – 20.6 inches wide. On long-haul flights, in-flight entertainment is offered on seat back TV monitor with AVOD. Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase and hot meals are served depending on the flight duration. Blankets and pillow are also provided on longer flights. A new Comfort Class is offered on Boeing 777-300 ER. These seats are in a separate cabin with all the amenities of a business class for long-haul flights. More space as the adjustment slides the seat down instead of tilting back, a foot rest, 10.6 inch TV monitors and a large folding table and your own individual controlled light.
Aeroflot Russian Airlines Business Class
Business Class offers two types of seating arrangements; known as the Premier and President Class, for its short and long-haul flights. The President Class seats for long-haul flights are wider at 21.5 inches and a pitch of 58 inches between them. Seats fully recline to a flatbed position. The Premier Class seats are 19 inches wide and a seat pitch of 38 inches. They recline, however not fully, but offer adjustable headrests and working table.
Aeroflot Airlines has a fully operational lounge at the main hub. Business Class Passengers can access the lounge as well as Sky Team frequent flyer members.
