The terminal contains numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes, most of which are situated on the fourth floor within the Central Building. Baggage reclaim and customs are on the first floor. The terminal is home to the biggest duty free brand boutique mall in Japan, Narita Nakamise. Terminal 2 also has a selection of shops and places to eat and drink. The baggage reclaim area and customs are on the first floor, whilst immigration checks are conducted on the second floor.
A low cost carrier terminal is currently under construction. It is due to be completed by 2015.
The airport is home to the Museum of Aeronatical Science, which displays several aircraft.
