Sao Paulo, BrazilThe large Sao Paulo is Brazil's biggest city. It is a veritable hive of activity and combines pulsating night life, great shopping, excellent dining, and culture galore. It has a diverse ethnic makeup and a strong multicultural atmosphere.

Three major airports serve Sao Paulo; Guarulhos International Airport, Viracopos International Airport, and Congonhas Airport. The latter mainly operates flights to domestic destinations in the southern parts of Brazil. Bus services run to major Brazilian destinations as well as other South American cities. Sao Paulo has three main bus stations.

Within Sao Paulo, local transport includes underground and overground trains, buses, and taxis.

Avenida Paulista is one of the city's most iconic streets, lying between the old and new parts of Sao Paulo. The surrounding streets are home to numerous art galleries, theatres, shops, cinemas, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and hotels.

Amongst the tangle of concrete, you can find some lovely parks in Sao Paulo. There are many museums and art galleries across the city, with two of the best being the Memorial da America Latina and the Museu do Ipiranga.
