New Zealand's Rotorua is known for its spluttering and spurting geysirs and hot springs. It is one of Mother Nature's finest play grounds. Thermal attractions keep the visitors coming, and the city's location near to several stunning lakes simply adds to the magical aura. With attractions and activities galore, Rotorua is a great place for a terrific holiday.
The local airport operates flights to and from Auckland, Wellington. Christchurch, and Queenstown. There are flights to Sydney two times per week. Bus services are available to different areas, and it is possible to drive to the city via some pretty scenery and lovely villages.

Created from a volcanic eruption in the late 1880s, it offers scenic boat rides, exciting hiking, and something to suit everyone. In the vicinity you can see incredible bubbling pools of boiling mud and bursting geysirs. The Buried Village bears testament to how brutal nature's forces can be.
Outside of the city, Okere Falls is another must see. At Rainbow Springs Nature Park you can see a variety of native animals and birds, including the iconic kiwi.
