Rockhampton

Australia's Rockhampton is situated between Mackay and Bundaberg within the state of Queensland. It is near to the coast, and is one of the oldest cities in Queensland. It is usually referred to as Rocky.

Natural attractions include Mount Etna Caves National Park and the Capricorn Caves.
If visiting the coast, visitors should be aware of the presence of salt water crocodiles; they can be incredibly dangerous.

Rockhampton Airport operates flights to and from Brisbane, Sydney, Townsville, Gladstone, Mackay, and Cairns. The city is served by the tilt train and sightseeing trains.
