Moree Attractions - Things to do
Moree Hot Mineral Baths were discovered accidentally in 1895 while in the pursuit of irrigation. The hot mineral waters come from bores sunk into the Artesian Basin. There are 2 baths to select from, one heated to 39º and the other to 41º C. Many people swear by the therapeutic powers of Artesian spas. These baths are open 7 days of the week, excepting Good Friday and Christmas Day, and attract about 300 000 visitors yearly. The Moree Hot Mineral Baths can be found at the corner of Gosport and Anne Sts.
