Bourke Attractions - Things to do
The Back of Bourke Exhibition Centre is a world class facility. Set amongst River Red Gums on the Darling River, it displays a story of the river spanning a 500 year period. Venture into the past through the colourful history of the region over a journey from the dreamtime and 100 years on. The Exhibition Centre displays show paddleboats, early pastoralists, aboriginal history, poets, early settlers, the unions, Afghan cameleers and the Cobb and Co Coaches.

Comeroo Camel Station is an outback experience for the whole family. A working sheep and cattle station, it covers over 100,000 acres with rich red and black soil country, northwest of Bourke. Enjoy canoeing, fishing and catching a yabby in the backdrop of some of the best outback country.
