Newquay Fish Festival
Newquay’s annual fish festival is held in September in the harbour, an area often overlooked by tourists. The festival includes cookery demonstrations from top Newquay chefs, local fish and produce stalls, live marine and rock pool demonstrations, a fresh fish barbeque, live bands and entertainers and a sand castle competition.

Polo on the Beach
Usually held in mid September, Polo on the Beach is a glamorous event in Newquay’s social calendar, where more than twenty polo ponies take part in an exhibition match on the sand which is free for spectators to watch.
