It has a picturesque old town, with winding streets and traditional wooden houses, and parts of the ancient city wall can still be seen, notably the two towers that stand either side of the city gates. Overall Antalya is an attractive place to visit with shady palm lined boulevards and a superb marina on the Mediterranean. Natural attractions in the area include the Duden Waterfalls, Lara Beach and the Taurus Mountain Range. The the Bey Dagi National Park is just a short drive away and there is even a ski resort within fifty kilometres on the Bakirli Mountain.
