Hangzhou, ChinaThe Chinese city of Hangzhou is located in Zhejiang Province. Brimming with natural attractions, incredibly beautiful scenery, historic places, and cultural activities, it is of little surprise that it is one the country's most popular tourist destinations. Everybody can find something to see and do in Hangzhou.

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport operates domestic and international flights. Fast trains link Huangzhou and Shanghai. Other rail links include Beijing, Chengdu, and Guangzhou. Numerous bus services operate to a wide selection of Chinese cities. The city has a very good bus network. There are limited water buses, and numerous taxis. Some parts of the city can be explored by foot or by bike.

The West Lake is the city's most well known attraction, and a wander around the lovely lake area will bring you to many other things to see. There are bridges, islands, pavilions, gardens, long tree lined causeways, museums, galleries, statues, memorials, and more. You can enjoy a boat trip on the waters.

There are many temples and other religious sites around the city. These include Baopu Taoist Temple, Baochu Pagodo, Confucius Temple, Jingci Temple, Chongyi Church, Leifeng Pagoda, the Six Harmonies Pagoda, Lingyin Temple, and the Three Temples of Tianzhu Hill.

There are several decorative and pretty parks and gardens. The city is home to an abundance of traditional tea houses. The lively night market should not be missed.

Visit Wushan Square and take an elevator up Wushan Hill for gorgeous views. Jade Emporer Hill also affords terrific views.
