Grafton Flights Guide

Grafton, AustraliaAustralia's city of Grafton is in the state of New South Wales. The Clarence River, that flows near the city, was historically the dividing point between the Bundjalung and Gumbainggir tribes. The city today is home to several fine examples of historic buildings and leafy streets. Indeed, the numerous trees have led to the city being nicknamed Jacaranda City.

Some of the main city landmarks are Christ Church Cathedral and Schaeffer House. The latter dates back to the 1900s and was a Federation house. The unusual bridge is also a main sight in the city. It is a double stacked bridge, allowing a road and railway line to both cross the Clarence River. It is unique.

The area is home to Harwood Mill, the oldest working sugar mill in the state.

There is an airport 13 kilometres away from the city – Clarence Valley Regional Airport. It operates flights to and from Sydney. The city is also linked by rail. It benefits from good road access.
