Fuzhou Flights Guide

Fuzhou, ChinaFuzhou is within the Chinese province of Fujian. It is an old port history with lots of maritime heritage. It enjoys a pretty location, with the coast having several stunning white sandy beaches and the inland areas having waterfalls and mountains to explore. It is also famous for an abundance of hot springs.

From Fuzhou airport you can get to most other major Chinese cities. There are also international flights to Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, and Osaka. Ferries connect Fuzhou and Taipei too. The city is also well served by buses and trains. Most parts of the city are covered by numerous and frequent buses and taxis are cheap.

Some of the main sights in Fuzhou include West Lake Park, Wuyi Square with its large statue of Chairman Mao, the historic area of Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, and Nan Hou Jie with its quaint traditional architecture and old fashioned atmosphere. Hualin Temple is a charming place that today houses a museum. It is one of South China's oldest wooden buildings.

Several mountains in the area are considered important. The summit of Gu Mountain can be reached by cable car, where you can visit a Taoist Temple housing national archives that have been recorded using monks' blood! Baiyun Mountain is nearby. Qi Mountain has a lovely forest park with cascading waterfalls and a suspension bridge form where you can enjoy great views of the surrounding mountains. There are troops of cheeky monkey waiting to be fed. On the way up to Wu Mountain you will encounter many artists and musicians. You can also visit the White Pagoda.

It offers a varied dining scene, with some local dishes including boiled dumplings, oyster pizza, doughy fish balls, mince, and pork in a watery broth, and noodles with peanut sauce. You can find other Chinese cuisine, as well as Italian, Japanese, Korean, French, steak houses, and pizzerias. There are many bars, providing a lively and fun night life.
