Day 1: ARRIVE DUBLIN
Welcome to Dublin and the Emerald Isle! See the ancient Book of Kells at Trinity College during your included sightseeing with an expert Local Guide. View St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin Castle and Christchurch Cathedral. At Phoenix Park see the Wellington Memorial. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Reception with your fellow and Travel Director at an Irish pub.(Welcome Reception)
Day 2: DUBLIN - KILDARE - KILKENNY - WATERFORD
Gain an insight into racehorse breeding on your guided walking tour of the Irish National Stud, and visit one of the finest Japanese Gardens in Europe. Stop in medieval Kilkenny to view the castle. See the creations of master craftsmen at the Waterford Crystal showroom. Dine tonight at your hotel.(Full Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 3: WATERFORD - YOUGHAL - CORK - KENMARE (2 NIGHTS)
See the fishing village at Youghal where Moby Dick was filmed and travel through Cork, Ireland’s second city. Kiss the Blarney Stone at the ancient Blarney Castle and acquire the gift of the gab! Pass the castle ruins at Macroom on your way to Kenmare, where you stay for two nights.(Full Breakfast)
Day 4: KENMARE - RING OF KERRY EXCURSION
Enjoy a scenic drive around the Ring of Kerry on the beautiful Iveragh Peninsula. See the beautiful market towns of Killorglin and Cahirciveen, along with a memorial to St. Brendan the Navigator. Admire spectacular views of Dingle Bay and South Kerry Mountains. See Charlie Chaplin’s hideaway at Waterville, and Derrymare, home of Ireland’s liberator Daniel O’Connell. Pass Ladies View, the Black Valley and drive through Moll’s Gap. This evening join your companions for a delicious traditional Be My Guest dinner at an Irish farmhouse.(Full Breakfast / Be My Guest dinner)
Day 5: KENMARE - CLIFFS OF MOHER - LIMERICK
Cross the River Shannon to County Clare by ferry. A picturesque coastal drive through Kilrush and Lahinch brings you to the dramatic Cliffs of Moher, with amazing views across the bay to Galway. See the Treaty Stone on which the Treaty of Limerick was signed plus King John’s Castle and St. Mary’s Cathedral, built by the Normans.(Full Breakfast)
Day 6: LIMERICK - DUBLIN
Visit the fascinating Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, a living museum dedicated to life during the 19th century featuring a reconstructed village street with shops, cottages and a pub. Travelling north via Ennis, see Galway Cathedral on the way to Dublin. Join your fellow companions and Travel Director this evening for a Farewell Dinner.(Full Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)
Day 7: DEPART DUBLIN
