Changsha Flights Guide

Changsha, ChinaChina's Changsha is the capital of Hunan Province. It is where Mao Zedong began his political activities, and was the first main city to be successfully saved from Japanese invasion during the Second World War.

Huanghua International Airport links the city to various domestic and international destinations. Trains and buses also connect Changsha to many places across China. The city has a local bus network and an abundance of taxis.

Hunan Provincial Museum is home to many old treasures. You can see the preserved body of Marquess of Dai, which at over 2,000 years old is really quite a sight. There are many objects from the Han Dynasty, and a tomb.

Kaifu Temple is the main Buddhist Temple in Changsha.

Martyrs Park is a peaceful place that commemorates people who dies when creating the communist government. There is a pretty lake, and you can enjoy a boat trip on the sparkling waters.

Take the cable car up Yuela Mountain to enjoy lovely views. There are several temples, pavilions, pagodas, and tea houses.

In the theatres you can enjoy traditional folk shows, which include singing, dancing, colourful costumes, drums, opera, and amazing lion dances.

The main shopping area in the city is Wuyi Shopping Circle.
