Kolkata is served by the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport which is located at a distance of 17km from the city center. The airport is accessed via an hour’s drive from the city center. The airport has three terminals – domestic, international and cargo and is also connected to the Kolkata Suburban Railway. The airport is also easily accessible by taxi and local bus as well.
 
Passenger facilitiesat the airport include a post office, bureau de change, restaurants, cafeterias and bars, duty free shops, newsagent and tobacconist, gift shops, car rental outlets, pre-paid taxi services, a first aid facility and a business center. The airport also has long and short term parking facilities.
